An income certificate is an essential document required at the time of form submission by ST, SC, and OBC students. If you don’t have an updated income certificate, we’ll guide you on how to get a latest income certificate.
- First is the Lok Seva Kendra, where the income certificate is issued within one day.
- Second is the CM Helpline; you can call 181 and get your income certificate within one to two days, without paying any fee—this service is completely free.
- Third is MP Online CSC, where the income certificate is issued within three to four days.
Note: Additionally, you can apply yourself from home through the MP District website. By applying online, it takes about three to four days. Using any of these methods, you can obtain your income certificate if you are a resident of Madhya Pradesh.

What Documents are Required to Update for MPTAAS Scholarship Renewal
Renewal uses previously verified documents, but some records must be updated every year.
- Income Certificate (current financial year)
- Admission Slip / Fee Receipt
- Marksheet (if applicable)
Common Troubleshooting: Document Rejection
- Name Mismatch: If your name differs between Aadhaar and Samagra, MPTAAS will show an error. Correct it on the Samagra portal first.
- NPCI Status: If your bank account is not mapped with NPCI, your scholarship “Sanctioned” status will not turn into “Paid.” Check your DBT status at your bank.
- Manual Certificate: If your Caste Certificate doesn’t have a 16-digit digital ID, it will be rejected.
Conclusion
Prepare these documents in advance to ensure a seamless MPTAAS registration. Once your documents are ready, you can proceed to create your Beneficiary profile for 1st year, 2nd year, BA, BSC, MA, MCom, and other courses or diplomas, and track your scholarship status on the official MPTAAS dashboard.
