Eligibility Criteria of MPTAAS Scholarship 2025
To be eligible for the MPTAAS Scholarship 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Residency: Must be a permanent resident of Madhya Pradesh.
Category: Should belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), or OBC category. Note: OBC applicants require a valid non-creamy layer certificate.
Income Limit: For SC/ST applicants, the annual family income must be less than ₹2.5 lakh, while for OBC applicants, it must be less than ₹1.5 lakh.
Parental Employment: Parents should not be employed in a government-recognized institution.

Note: Your Date of Birth on your Aadhaar Card, Caste Certificate, and Samagra ID must be the same. Your mobile number must be linked to your Aadhar card for you to be able to complete the e-KYC process through MP TASS and apply for a scholarship.

How to Register MPTAAS Profile (Hitgrahi Profile) for Scholarship 2025-26
To get state funded study scholarship you need to first register on MPTAAS portal to create a Hitgrahi profile. Follow these steps carefully to make a successful MPTAAS profile.
Visit the Official Portal: Go to https://tribal.mp.gov.in.
Navigate to Registration: Click on “New Beneficiary (Hitgrahi) Profile Registration” or “नया हितग्राही प्रोफाइल पंजीकरण”.
Enter Individual's Samagra ID: Input your 09-digit Samagra ID and click “Fetch Details” to auto-fill your personal information.
Complete Aadhaar e-KYC: Verify your identity using the OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. This step is mandatory. Next, tick “I agree”.
Note: Whatever data is in your Aadhaar will also appear in your Samagra profile because MP TAAS fetches data from Samagra.
Verify Fetched Details: You will now see the personal details obtained from Samagra: Name, Mobile number, Date of Birth, Gender, Religion, Family ID, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Marital status, etc. Carefully review all auto-filled data. If any detail is incorrect, correct it on the Samagra portal first.
You will also see caste certificate, domicile certificate, income certificate, disability certificate (if any), and other details. It will also show the DBT status. If DBT is not active, you must activate it in the bank by linking your Aadhaar and enabling DBT for government benefits. 
You must enter your caste certificate number and issue date, then click “Get Caste Detail. Only your own caste certificate is valid.
Next, you must update your domicile information. Click the option for resident information and confirm that you have been living in Madhya Pradesh continuously for the past 10 years.
Then enter your income certificate number and its issue date. Click “Get Income Detail” to fetch the income information.
If you are not disabled, select “No”.
Your district, area (rural/urban), local body (Nagar Nigam, Nagar Palika, Janpad Panchayat, etc.), ward/village, and full address will appear automatically.
Check all details carefully and click Save & Preview.
A preview of your MP TAAS profile will appear. If everything is correct, click “Create Profile.
Your profile will be successfully created.
Copy your User ID. The password will be sent through SMS. If you don’t receive the password, use the “Forgot Password” option, enter your profile number, verify via OTP, and create a new password.
Once logged in, you can see options like Print Profile, Change Password, Check NPCI Status, Update Beneficiary Profile, and Update OTR.
How to Log In to the MPTAAS Portal as an Existing User
With your profile successfully registered on the official scholarship portal, you can now access your MPTAAS dashboard by following the MPTAAS login process detailed below.
Open your web browser and visit the official portal link: https://tribal.mp.gov.in
Initiate Login: On the homepage, click the prominent “Student Login” or “छात्र लॉगिन” button.
Enter Your Credentials: On the secure login page, enter your registered User ID (Application Number or Mobile Number) and Password.
Complete Security Verification: Verify your identity by entering the CAPTCHA code or the OTP sent to your registered mobile number/email.
Access Your Dashboard: Click “Sign In” to enter your personalized dashboard. Here, you can apply for the 2025-26 scholarship, renew your application, or check your mptaas scholarship status.
Pro Tip: In-case, You Forgot your password or User ID? on the login page. Use the ‘Forgot Password’ link and reset it using your registered mobile number, Email or Samagra ID. Use your own phone or PC to get an OTP and reset your details.
How to Renew Your MPTAAS Scholarship for 2025-26
If you have already received the MPTAAS Scholarship in the 2024-25 academic session, you can easily apply for scholarship renewal for the current academic session. Ensure a seamless MPTAAS scholarship 2025 renewal by following these steps:
Log in to your MPTAAS Portal and from your dashboard, click on the PMS (Post Matric Scholarship) tab.
Select the Admission Year. You need to select the same Admission Year in which you applied for the First Year.
After selecting the Academic Year, select the Application Type. Select Renewal.
Select the Course Year. Select the year for which you want to fill the form.
After selecting, a message will show: "Success".
Important: If your Result is not updated, "Success" will not show here. To renew the scholarship form, you must first get your results updated by your college. Only then can you renew your application form.
After "Success" is shown, click on Go for Apply.
Your details will be updated this way. The current academic year is shown here. Your previous Income Certificate is shown here. There is no option to change the Income Certificate here yet.
Scroll the page. Your result is updated here. If your result is not updated, you cannot fill out the form. After reading all the details, click on Apply Renewal, and click Yes.
Your Scholarship Amount is shown here, which includes your Annual Fees plus Maintenance Allowance. After reading all the details, tick the Declaration Checkbox and click on Submit.
A confirmation message appears: "Do you want to submit the application for a renewal scholarship? Please confirm." Click Yes.
"Your application has been successfully submitted." This is your Application Number.
Applying for Other Benefits
A prompt appears: "Are you eligible for other PMS benefits such as Hostel Allowance or Disability Allowance? If yes, proceed, otherwise Exit."
If you want to apply for Hostel Allowance or Disability Allowance, click on Yes, I am eligible.
If you do not want to apply, click on Exit.
How to Check Your MPTAAS Scholarship Application Status 2025-26
Follow simple steps to keep track of your MPTAAS application status online. After performing your MPTAAS login, navigate to the “Application Status” or “Track Status” section on your dashboard.

Click on the “Track Application Status” option on the homepage.
Enter your Application ID and Academic Year.
Click Submit to view your current status.

Submitted: Application received and awaiting verification.
Under Verification: Your institution/department is checking your documents.
Approved: Your application has been verified and approved for payment.
Sent for Payment/Successful: The scholarship amount has been processed and credited to your bank account.
